Rock Strata

​On my walks along the Cornish clifftops and beaches with my dog and my family, i have become fascinated with rock strata and the colours and layers of the different types of rock. Fault lines of crystal or a tin seam, limpets that only follow the fault line, and the contours scalloped out by the tides. 
​I have been photographing these for a while and have begun to play with accentuating colours to develop into mixed media paintings or textile pieces.
